*JPA INTERVIEW*

last wednesday [25th of March],i on9-ed n check whether i am shortlisted for d JPA [Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam a.k.a. Public Service Department] scholarship interview..
n i was so happy+anxious when i got to noe tat i was shortlisted for d interview..
whoOtss.. wat a good chance..
but jz take note tat JPA scholarship isnt easy to get..
so,jz depends on luck as well as my performance during d interview..
so,i jz pray hard so tat i will get it..
i heard most of d ex-interviewees said,usually those who got it were those who getting 10 1As n above..
even wit 9 1As,d probability of getting it is considerably low..
me,wit 7 1As,i think u can imagine how low it d probability of getting it..
so,i jz can pray hard so tat i will do well in d interview..
n yea,d interview was on yesterday[tuesday]..
during the few days b4 d interview,i did lots of things n was kinda busy..
i went to skul more than 5 times,n i went to Ipoh,d majlis bandaraya ipoh,somewhere around d Syuen Hotel coz tat's d place where d interview will take place.. so,jz went there to confirm which floor n which department will b interview b conducted..
but the ppl there told me tat they were not confirm where will d interview b taking place..
so,i went there n i gained nothing..
wakaka.. nvm,at least i confirm where was tat building..
n den choi yee n me went to parade n was hanging around buying tis n tat..
n during d few days time,i did lotss of researches,bout how will d interview b conducted,wat shud i prepare before-hand,wat shud i bring blah blah blah...
i didnt sleep well almost everyday till d day i was interviewed..
n for ur in4,d way we will b interviewed tis year has changed..
we will b interviewed by d professionals from d field of course tat we chose..
which means tat if u r choosing medical,u will b interviewed by doctors,if u r choosing law,u will b interviewed by lawyer..
so,i didnt rili noe wat will they asked n my aunt adviced me to noe more bout pharmacy thingy since i was choosing tis course..
i did prepare how will i intro myself,wat shud i include,wat r d prestigious pharmaceutical companies,wat is meant by pharmacy,how many types of pharmacies there r,wat r latest news like Earth hour,political issues,n lotsa..
i slept for 1 hour on tuesday morning,which means d day i went for d interview..
haha..
i went there wit ah choong,i went to fetch him at 6.30am n we started our journey..
reached there around 7.15am,reach earlier better than late,ryte??
den we read some infos in d car till he said,"wei,it's ady 7.40am.. hurry up.."
so,we both rushed down d car n i was wearing high heel shoes,OMG..
he went to toilet n i waited for him..
den we went to counter n lots of ppl were ady waiting there,so were we..
den we were told to go up to 2nd floor..
we went up n had a look on d lists,so lucky man,i was in d same panel wit ah choong n we registered at d counter..
n again,so lucky,we were in d same group as well.. n he was jz next to me..
5 person per group,i was d 4th n he was d 5th..
huhu..
d 1st was kavitha,from tarcisian convent wit 10 1As,choosing pharmacy course..
2nd one was tamil,from tarcisian convent as well,wit 8 1As n 2 2As,choosing medical course..
3rd was from cameron highlands,dun noe which skul lar.. choosing medical course as well.. her result i m not sure,so dun wan to mention.. n she is a very very quiet person..
den d 4th was me,from sbc wit 7 1As,3 2As n 1 4B.. result sucks.. choosing pharmacy course..haix..
den d last was ah choong,from yuk kwan wit 10 1As n 1 2A.. choosing pharmacy course,too..
apparently,my result wasnt good if compared to theirs..
neway,since i was given a chance,y shudnt i try my best,ryte..
i seldom look at something some positively n tis time i did look at it positively.. *clap hands*
d time allocated for each interview session was 45 minutes n we were d 2nd group in panel 5..
panel means room lar..
so,d time for d 1st group was quite long,so starting from our group,d time was shorten to 35 minutes..
whees.. so nice hor..
hehes.. :)
we were interviewed by 2 doctors n a pharmacist[an indian lady,a malay man n a malay lady]..
1st,we were requested to give a short intro.. in between,they might ask u questions..
when it was my turn,i gave a short intro,my name,age,skul i graduated from,my siblings..
den d malay man asked,"wat course will u be taking up".. i told him pharmacy.. i tot he will ask me why am i choosing tat course.. coz d previous interviewees were asked tat question..
but he didnt..
den d indian lady asked me,"if in d future u become a pharmacist,how will u contribute to our country?"
i was like,"harrrr???"
i jz flunked tat question n i answered,"work under d government n try to invent some new drugs/medicine to cure more diseases.." wahaha.. so silly..
n they smiled,asking me back,"invent new drugs,can help ppl?? if harm them,how?"
n they jz keep smiling as well as me..
haha..
so,d next will b a short question..
d question sounds lik tis,
"if u r on d way to airport,u see an accident between a car n a motorcycle.. d motorcyclist is lying motionless on d road.. wat will u do?"
we were given bout 1-2 minutes to think over it n whoever can start it..
so,d 2nd interviewee started 1st..
similarly,in between,they did ask questions..
d interviewee said tat she will check his body,den call ambulance n do cpr even he has AIDS,she doesnt mind n will risk his life to save him..
followed by d 1st interviewee n den d 3rd,den me n d last ah choong..
during my turn,i did say i will call ambulance n do cpr.. n they asked me wat will i do if he has AIDS n how will d cpr be done.. i answered,i will do d pumping action on his chest so tat he gains back d heartbeat[arghhh,watever],but they understand wat i mean.. haha.. n i did say i will keep my mouth a distance from his mouth during d cpr session..
d indian lady did let us noe tat there is actually a device for tis kind of patients which she means those AIDS patients..
n d man said tat d answer from d former girl saying tat she will risk her life wasnt correct actually..
mine was better,though..
lotsss of funny questions they asked like "how would u call d ambulance if ur hp is running out of battery?"
one of us answered,"carry him to my car n i send him to hospital"
den they asked,"if u said u carry him,how will u carry him if he is a man who weighs 80kg"
one of us answered,"seek help from passer-by"
again,"if there is no passer-by?"
one of us,"try my best to carry him.."
they kept shooting us,"no time for u to call ambulance.. he is going to die,his last breath.. wat will u do?"
n tat were roughly our answers lar,they did let us noe lots of info..
they asked us wat id d full for CPR.. OMG,no one knew d answer..
haha..
so,i guessed d 1st word,cardiovascular,den another girl guessed d 2nd word,pulmonary, d last word no one knew..
they kindly told us d answer,it was "cardiopulmonary resuscitation"
haha.. we were all laughing..
here comes d last question,we were given a topic..
cant remember wat d topic was,something lik tis>> "drug addicts are affecting d ?? of malaysia [not sure d ?? was harmony or stability,sth to do wit our economy etc lar]. Discuss bout it."
each of us needed to answer it without discussing..
of cos,d 1st will benefit d most coz d she can voice out all d points..
d sequence of us answering tat question was still d same,n i was still d 4th..
d previous 3 did mention bout future generation,crimes,gives a bad impression to tourists etc..
so,d 2nd n 3rd were repeating d 1st's points..
me as well,i got a different point..
when i mentioned tat,"i have a point to add on",they all were lokking at me wit a shocked expression,so i jz voice out,"government will have to spent lotss of money in order to correct them back to d right path"
n d interviewers were all satisfied wit my answer.. haha.. so happy..
n den ah choong didnt rili do well in d interview coz he talk lesser if compared to 4 of us,n he cant speak very fluent in english..
but his academic result was nice n he may get tat scholarship..
so,after it ended,we went out n wait for our clear holder b4 we went back.. during d time we were waiting,we all crapped lotss.. haha.. nice meeting them..
so,overall it was a very very nice experience..
eventhou i think i did well in it,my result wasnt good n tat brings my probability lower..
neway,still happy wit it.. *praying hard*
d interview was much like a conversation,jz chit-chatting,rather than a very formal one..
so, we were enjoying n laughing all d way thru..
frankly,i did enjoy it n it was much much more better than wat i expected it to b..
hahas.. :)
i went home wit ah choong n reached home bout 11.30am..
a really good experience..

n thanx for those wishing me luck b4 i went for d interview.. especially hakka late ghosts[Da Second n Da Third],my new group.. comprises of juntheng n june man.. salute u guys,thanx lotss for d support.. haha.. n i got a new name again,which is hakka late ghost Da First.. nice boh my name??
others tat wished me were goo-goo,calvin,ka lai,choi yee,chor kun,ken choong,yee theng,n lots lots more.. thanx lotss..

ok lar,tat's all 4 today..
d result is out in May,if not mistaken is 3rd week of May..
so, wish me luck so tat i can get it..
